Her får du en portal med en let og overskuelig tilgang til destillerierne i Danmark og Færøerne.
De Danske Spritfabrikker havde jo monopol på alt spiritusfremstilling, herunder selvfølgelig også destillering, i Danmark fra 1923 indtil 1973 hvor Danmarks indtræden i Det Europæiske Fællesskab (nu EU) gav teoretisk mulighed for konkurrence. Alligevel skulle vi langt ind i det nye årtusind før andre turde indlade sig med destillering af Aqua vitae, Usige-beatha eller livets vand som det også kaldes. (End ikke Svendborg Vinkompagni fremstillede selv finspritten, men indkøbte den fra De Danske Spritfabrikker og brugte det som grundlag til fremstilling af deres spiritus.)
Men i 2005 startede Vingården Lille Gadegår whiskydestillering og kunne som de første i mange år, sende Dansk whisky på markedet i 2009. (De Danske Spritfabrikker stoppede produktionen af whisky i 1974.) Siden da er det gået stærkt, og nu findes der over 70 destillerier i Danmark. Hos rigtig mange af dem kan du få en rundvisning. – God fornøjelse.

Betjening af Danmarkskortet
På trykfølsomme skærme kan der zoomes med to fingrer, og kortet kan flyttes ved at bevæge de to fingre fra side til side.
På traditionelle skærme kan der zoomes ved klik på hhv. + og – i øverste venstre hjørne. Kortet kan flyttes ved at holde venstre museknap nede og samtidig trække i kortet.
Ved at pege/klikke på en markering på kortet, åbnes en lille informationsboks med destilleriets navn og adresse. Peges/klikkes der på navnet i denne boks, bliver destilleriets hjemmeside åbnet.
About Us
With this homepage, we want to provide an easy and clear approach to the distilleries in Denmark and the Faer Isles.
After all, De Danske Spritfabrikker had a monopoly on all spirit production, of course including distillation, in Denmark from 1923 until 1973, when Denmark’s entry into the European Community (now the EU) theoretically allowed for competition. Still, we had to be well into the new millennium before others dared to indulge in the distillation of Aqua vitae, Usige-beatha or The Water of Life as it is also called. (Even Svendborg Vinkompagni did not produce the fine spirit itself but purchased it from De Danske Spritfabrikker and used that as a basis to produce their spirits.)
But in 2005, Vingården Lille Gadegår started whiskey distilling and, as the first in many years, was able to send a Danish whiskey to the market in 2009. (De Danske Spritfabrikker had stopped making whiskey in 1974.) Since then, things have developed rapidly, and now there are more than 70 distilleries in Denmark. How to operate the map
On touchscreens, you can zoom with two fingers, and the map can scroll by moving the two fingers from side to side.
On traditional screens, you can zoom by clicking + and – in the upper left corner. The map can scroll by holding down the left mouse button and simultaneously dragging the map.
By pointing/clicking a mark on the map, a small information box opens with the distillery’s name and address. If you point/click on the name in this box, the distillery’s website will open.
